Camps and excursions complement our curriculum with costs included in our school fees.

Pilgrim School is committed to the use of Outdoor Education within its curriculum. Our camp program currently commences with an overnight stay in Year 3.

Recent successes have included camps to Mylor, Victor Harbor and the Adelaide ZooSnooze. Every two years our Year 5 and 6 students travel to Canberra (this entails an additional cost). Camps enhance the curriculum and help students develop their independence and resilience.

All Year 5 and 6 students attend an Aquatics Program at Port Noarlunga which is taught by trained, qualified instructors. Some of the available activities include surfing, body boarding, kayaking, snorkelling, sail boarding and wave-skiing.

Our Foundation to Year 4 students attend Water Safety Awareness lessons held at SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre at Marion.

Each class participates in excursions or incursions that complement classroom learning. All excursion costs are included in annual school fees.
